The BTL 208 series is the newest and most advanced series of cart tippers from Bayne Thinline^® Lift Systems.  The patent pending sweeping action of the BTL 208 automatically adjusts for uneven terrain, preventing operators from having to lift carts onto to lifter faceplate.  This lifter was specifically designed to offer greater ground clearance for rear load applications, reducing the risk of damaging the lifter on alley entrances, landfills, etc.  At only 5 1/4" thick, the BTL 208 is thin enough to work on a rear load truck equipped with commercial container latches.  This allows one truck to pick up residential and commercial waste on the same route.  The BTL 208 is powered by the patented Thinline^® rack & pinion rotary actuator to provide smooth, reliable operation and greater lift capacity at lower operating pressures than any other cart lifter on the market.
